Living in a culture where being busy is the norm and bench mark of success, it’s no wonder most of us are stressed, fatigued and unfulfilled in our day to day lives. Often we live with one of two worries – that there’s something wrong and, there’s something wrong with ourselves!  Mindfulness can support us to see ourselves in a different way in the world.  

We tend to get so identified with our anxiety, anger, fear and grief that it becomes who we think we are.  The truth is there is something much greater to who we are. We all have an inner goodness, truth and awareness that is vast, compassionate and filled with love and joy.  

Through the practice of mindfulness and meditation we can find ourselves having more and more access to our own basic goodness.  We can experience momentary glimpses of ease, peace and authentic connection to ourselves and the world around us.  When we allow ourselves to be open to these experiences and feel them in our bodies and deliberately cultivate and skilfully install these qualities into the mind and body, they start to become our default setting.  

Beginning a meditation and mindfulness practice requires only your slight willingness.  Your desire to experience something new is all you need to get started.
